Research in the laboratory
The laboratory of drilling fluids LLC RIGRENT was created to implement comprehensive technical support to field laboratories, develop highly efficient drilling fluid systems based on water and hydrocarbon bases, quality control of chemical reagents, as well as to perform the necessary research to ensure quality service for drilling fluids and completion fluids .
Highly qualified staff
Highly qualified staff
The laboratory employs highly qualified personnel who have been trained in specialized higher education institutions and specialized drilling mud schools in such companies as Halliburton and M-I SWACO, which has experience in leading international and Russian companies operating in the field of drilling services. solutions and petrochemistry. The average work experience of employees with drilling fluids for more than 9 years.
The latest equipment
The latest equipment
The Drilling Fluids Laboratory LLC RIGRENT is a modern facility equipped with the latest equipment from leading suppliers of tools for the analysis of drilling fluids - FANN, OFITE and specialized laboratory furniture. All measuring instruments and testing equipment pass verification, certification, or calibration at the CMS in a timely manner. The laboratory activities are regulated by interstate standards API RP 13 A, B-1, B-2, I, J; State Standards - 33213-2014, 33696-2015, 33697-2015, 56946-2016.

The technical capabilities of the laboratory are measurement:

— Conditional viscosity on Marsh funnel;
— Density, true density of drilling mud;
— Filtration on a low-temperature filter press low pressure (LTLP);
— Filtration on a high-temperature filter press high pressure (NTNP), using paper and ceramic filters;
— Rheological parameters — PV, DNS, SNS using the OFITE 900 rotational viscometer;
— VNSS;
— The coefficient of friction of the crust on the CPC-2;
— sand content;
— The content of the aqueous, hydrocarbon and solid phases using a retort analysis;
— Calcium carbonate content;
— Office (CFU clay);

— The content of potassium ions;
— Chemical parameters Pm, Pf / Mf; the content of calcium ions, magnesium, chlorides;
In addition to standard tests:
— In laboratory conditions, aging of the solutions in the aging furnace is simulated in order to study the properties of the drilling fluid over time.
— Sludge samples are being investigated. A slurry dispersion test is performed to select effective shale inhibitors;
— Quality control of incoming reagents;
— Tests for compatibility of drilling mud with buffer solutions;
— Selection of the fractional composition of mudding;
— Measurement of the kinematic viscosity of the oil;
— Measurement of the specific resistance of the solution;
— Measurement of the electrical stability of the emulsion.
